Why this model

Two airframes, one payload ceiling

Most buyers assume the 8-axis version is strictly better. It is not. The 4-axis LY200 occupies roughly half the transport footprint, folds into a smaller vehicle slot, and costs less to ship and insure — at the same 220 kg tested ceiling.

The 8-axis LY200-H13/X13 trades that portability for rotor redundancy and a calmer hover in gusty conditions. It uses H13 or X13 propulsion drawn from manned-platform motor families, which is why it holds attitude so well in crosswind.

If your site has vehicle access and moderate wind, take the 4-axis. If you are lifting over people, structures or ridgelines, take the 8-axis.

FAQ

Common questions on this model

Choose 4-axis if transport footprint and cost dominate and your site has vehicle access. Choose 8-axis if you fly over people, structures or ridgelines, or operate in gusty conditions where rotor redundancy matters.
The LY200 uses a 4-axis 8-rotor airframe with T-MOTOR A16L propulsion, recommended 150 kg. The LY200-H13/X13 uses an 8-axis 16-rotor airframe with H13 or X13 propulsion, recommended 180 kg. Both share a 220 kg maximum payload.
The 28S high-voltage fast-charge pack set (10 kWh) reaches full charge in about 25 minutes at 3C. The solid-state long-endurance set (20 kWh) takes about 60 minutes at 1C but roughly doubles flight time.
